ASSOS EQUIPE R 2/3 Bib Shorts S11

These new Spring Fall Racing Series bib shorts are constructed with the same insulating textile used on our new Winter Warmers, an upgrade in warmth compared to the previous Racing Series model. Though warmer on the legs and hips, the EQUIPE R omits the double-layer construction used on the crotch of its predecessor, which creates uniform thermoregulation throughout rather than lighter insulation on the legs and an over-insulated core. The new textile is also treated with an eco-friendly water-repellent finish, so road spray and light precipitation bead up and roll off instead of soaking through. These bib shorts debut the new EQUIPE R S11 insert, which features updated shaping to better support the body in aggressive riding positions and our proprietary free-floating goldenGate 2.0 construction.

CHARACTERISTIC MATERIAL

RX Extreme fabric is our most robust insulation in the RX range. It is a combed, insulating warp-knit fabric with high breathability and a water-repellent finish – ideal for racing in light rain and wind at low temperatures.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT

Our AEDP 11 RacingFit race fit is an aerodynamic, second-skin silhouette that was designed using WorldTour feedback to hug the body in 360-degree compression and stability. The thick-cut waist construction eliminates pressure in aggressive riding positions.

TECHNOLOGY

PILtec Plug-In: A lightweight, ultra-breathable fabric strip across the leg openings. A silicone micro-dot finish is invisible from the outside, but stabilizes the fit and maintains grip when wet.
Acqua Shield Tec: An eco-friendly, water-repellent treatment that causes water to condense and roll off the surface of the fabric, maintaining a dry microclimate underneath.
X-Frame: An A-frame that reduces lower back sag, stabilizing the liner and main body panel during high-intensity riding. Anchored across the shoulders with our ultra-light track webbing.
Reflective details: A strip of reflective elements on the lower back that catches incoming light and increases visibility in low-light conditions.

EQUIPE R S11 liner

Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: Compression foam materials in a breathable 9mm racing platform. Thermoformed shaping eliminates bumps and pressure points.

3D Waffle: Patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

GoldenGate 2.0: Free-flowing construction that moves with your body, not against it. New wing cut reduces friction while pedaling.
