ASSOS EQUIPE RS Spring Fall LS Jacket Targa

For cold training throughout fall and spring, when a thermal SS jersey, arm warmers, and vest combo isn’t cutting it, we developed a warmer option: the all-new EQUIPE RS Spring Fall Jacket. And while it wears a similar look to our Spring Fall Aero SS Jersey, it features a more insulating internal textile for boosted warmth.

FABRICS USED

The front of the jacket is made as a combination of our summer Push Pull jersey with a highly thermal Rhombus lining. Together, these two materials provide the flexibility, breathability and aerodynamics of a standard racing jersey and thermal protection. The entire sleeve sections are made of our SONIC-SN material, which is a highly elastic ribbed fabric that provides high grip, so it works like a second skin and is equipped with a combed micro-sanded lining for better thermal protection.

STRUCTURE/CUT

Two reflective “vents” on the front of the shoulders act as vents that draw cool air from the outside and channel it between the two overlapping layers of the jacket’s fabric. If you’re going full throttle and want to maintain a compact profile but still need ventilation to cool your body, unzipping the zipper isn’t always the best thing to do. This construction solves this problem and ensures body temperature regulation without negatively impacting aerodynamics.

TECHNICAL SOLUTION

twinDeck: A two-layer fabric that provides better thermal protection by combining Push Pull and Rhombus fabrics. It’s used on the front and upper back.

Diffuser: An exclusive ASSOS stitching that creates double reflective “vents” on the front of the shoulders that draw cool air in and provide better ventilation.

Double slider zipper: Reverse lock design, metal construction, with a stabilizing lug at the top that allows one-handed operation.

Triple pockets Our storage solution with three pockets with a textile cover, optimally positioned for easy access. It is color-coded and equipped with a micro-perforated adhesive tape for better visibility.
