Winter LS Skin Layer's insulating knit structure and seamless construction are tuned for the cold, harsh conditions of winter riding to keep you dry and insulated from the base up.

Temperature regulation is a key indicator of the performance of each base layer, and this is especially true for the winter version. However, winter brings specific challenges not found in other ClimaCodes in the form of added cold air and your extra layers. This is where our new Winter LS Skin Layer fills the gap, tweaked with a thicker knit "weight", higher collar and more stretch than our Spring/Fall version for better insulation and flexibility under outdoor clothing.

It's worth noting that the skin layer is a complete reset of our base layers of the past, has a completely redesigned design and uses a new fiber blend. The Winter LS is roughly 13% lighter than the previous Winter Skiinfoil and relies on a circular seamless construction that doesn't have irritating side seams. It uses a winter-tuned blend of carbon and polypropylene yarns plus elastane to wick moisture away from your skin and insulate your core, keeping you dry, insulated and comfortable from the start.
