ASSOS Womens WINTER LS Skin Layer

The Spring/Fall LS Skin Layer answers the call during late fall and early spring, complete with a women's specific fit, full shoulder coverage and a new mid-weight yarn blend.

During the chilly days of fall and spring, lightweight insulation and full arm coverage is just the ticket, as it's important for the upper body to get extra support against the elements. That's where the Spring/Fall LS Skin Layer comes in, fine-tuned with women-specific yarns and a women-specific cut to keep you dry, insulated, and as comfortable as possible from the base up.

For those familiar with the iconic Skinfoil Assos base layers, the Torch Skin Layer has taken up the torch with a completely revamped design and an all-new blend of yarns. For starters, it's about 8% lighter than before and uses a circular seamless construction with no irritating side seams. This creates a smooth tubular knit that is very gentle on the skin. It uses a blend of carbon and polypropylene yarns tuned for cold weather, which effectively wicks moisture away from your skin and insulates your core. Assos has also increased the neck height by 3cm from the short sleeve version - just one of the many small details that Assos likes to call out, showing the level of detail that Assos uses to tune our base layers for specific conditions.
