The second generation of the extremely powerful Fenix BC30 V2.0 bike light delivers a luminous flux of up to 2200 lumens (ANSI). It can be powered by two rechargeable 18650 Li-ion batteries or four disposable CR123A batteries. The light uses two modern Luminus SST-40 LEDs and features the proven Dual Distance Beam System.

The main beam is produced by a specially designed optical system and reaches up to 187 meters. The wide secondary beam is created by an optical element shaped to bend upward-directed light downward, illuminating the area directly in front of the bike — including areas that standard bike lights often miss.

Compared to the previous generation, this version features wireless remote control, allowing users to change brightness modes or activate Burst mode on the fly. The newly designed mount allows for quick and tool-free attachment and removal of the light from handlebars, and can also turn the light into a powerful handheld flashlight. It fits handlebars with a diameter of 22 to 32 mm. The light includes six digitally regulated brightness modes, including warning flash and a battery level indicator.

All specifications (luminous output, runtime, waterproofing, beam distance) comply with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standards.
