• The upper is made from G.Frametex, an innovative material developed by Gaerne to enhance foot stability while keeping the shoe light. Strategically placed laser-cut perforations ensure outstanding ventilation, keeping your feet cool and dry even during intense rides. TPU reinforcements on the toe and sides protect against abrasion and increase durability.
• The INFIT CLOSURE SYSTEM 1.0 allows independent adjustment in different zones, thanks to its asymmetrical design and dual BOA® Li2 dials. This system ensures maximum stability while pedaling, a precise fit, optimal power transfer, and reduced pressure points.
• The BOA® Li2 DIAL F features a sleek, low-profile shape with a rubberized finish for excellent grip and control. Tighten by turning outward, loosen by turning inward – making fine adjustments quick and effortless.
• The FIT TONGUE 1.0 is seamlessly constructed with variable thickness and high-tech padding for greater comfort and breathability.
• The ANATOMICAL HEEL CUP 1.0 provides improved heel stability and control by limiting unwanted movement. Its internal anti-slip lining offers enhanced support and a more efficient power transfer.
• The anatomical insole is engineered for maximum stability and comfort, with reinforced support in the heel and tarsal area. Precisely placed perforations align with the sole’s ventilation ports to enhance airflow and maintain an ideal microclimate inside the shoe. The innovative, quick-drying material prevents moisture buildup, keeping your feet fresh and dry throughout your ride.
• The Gaerne EPS Lightweight Carbon Fiber MTB Sole 10.0, developed in partnership with Michelin®, features a carbon structure that delivers exceptional stiffness and lightness for efficient pedaling. The Michelin® rubber tread ensures maximum abrasion resistance and outstanding performance in extreme conditions. Its aggressive lug pattern offers superior grip and traction, while wide spacing between treads allows for effective self-cleaning and fast mud release. With a stiffness index of 10, this is the stiffest sole in the Gaerne MTB range.
