Ghost Lector – the legend of XC World Cup

Lector is the symbol of Ghost brand since its founding and sits on the top of its range. New generation of Lector reflects requirements of modern XC/marathon special bike, which can handle demanding world championships with more and more difficult courses. Head tube angle (68°) is smaller by 1,5° compared to its predecessor and the distance between both wheel centers was increased by 62 mm (size M). Wheels with Boost hubs and possibility to use wider tyres – all of this help to easier ride through difficult passages as well as excellent stability and handling. On the other side, short stem and more upright sitting position allow improved breathing and longer stamina during maximum effort. Ghost Lector is Anne Terpstra’s  winning bike of World Cup race in Andorra.

Ghost Lector has always been eye catching with its unique design.Specially its rear section designed to absorb vibrations as much as possible while maintaining maximum side stiffness.

Every rider wil be captivated by its perfect geometry called SuperFit. Behind SuperFit geometry lies a carefully crafted algorithm based on the evaluation of tens of thousands of biometric data of variously high riders. The length of frame tubes and its angles have been designed so it creates ideal frame geometry for any rider height. Another step is optimized cranks and stem length as well as handlebars width depending on frame size. Finally, the rider can adjust saddle width and adapt the angle of handlebars with excentric grips by +/- 1°.

Another original and handy improvement is internal cable routing. It is hidden but easy accessible, routed under protection cover of down tube and chain stay. At the same time the cover protects the frame against rocks.

All Ghost top models come with integrated telescopic seatpost of Austrian manufacturer Eightpins with minimalistic design, low weight, but also stable operation and possibility to setup any uplift according to rider height.
