ORBEA MONOCOQUE CARBON
- LIGHTNESS: Optimized layups and fewer frame pieces reduces weight
- STIFFNESS: Single uniform structures are better optimized to resist deflection.
- RELIABILITY: Eliminating bonded areas increases strength.
- RIDE QUALITY: Running continuous fibers through and around intersections allows fine-tuning of structures for the best blend of comfort and rigidity.
OMR FRAME SHAPES - The layup and dynamic structure gives a compliance and vibration absorption 5% better than the previous OMR and 10% higher than the current OMX.
OMR CARBON - OMR frames add high modulus and high strength fibers to a standard layup to improve stiffness-to-weight ratios
FREEFLOW FORK - the forward rotation of the spokes, wider rims and tires approaching from behind the fork creates a high pressure/high drag zone. Freeflow spreads the fork legs away from this area to reduce pressure and turbulence - bike gets faster because the airspace inside the Freeflow fork blades is less chaotic.
OC RISE HANDLEBAR - This simple and elegant ergonomic solution elevates the tops and drops of the traditional road bar, so your neck and shoulders can relax a bit more.
ICR PLUS - Internal Cable Routing is carefully guided along the best path under the stem and through the head tube, with no rub or rattle, and is optimized for both traditional and electronic shifting systems.
HIDDEN CLAMP - Orca’s seat post clamp is integrated smoothly into the frame, decreasing the likelihood of contamination and increasing aerodynamics.
OMR SEATPOST NEW - The significantly more comfortable round 27.2mm seat post is improving smoothness in the saddle without sacrificing frame stiffness elsewhere.
