The cult Australian brand Knog offers unique functional and design cycling accessories from designers and constructors, whose passion and revolutionary approach is reflected in every product.

The Future of Bicycle Security Is Here!

The KNOG Scout is a lightweight, low-profile bike tracker and alarm designed to seamlessly integrate into Apple’s Find My network. It allows you to track your bike's location—even when it’s not moving. The device is discreetly and securely mounted under any bottle cage using the included tamper-proof security screws. It charges via USB-C and lasts approximately 6 months on a single charge under normal use. Cyclists can activate/deactivate the motion-sensitive alarm, locate the device, and check battery status through the Knog app.

HOW THE KNOG SCOUT WORKS

The Scout tracker and alarm work via Bluetooth connection with an Apple smartphone. Thanks to the interconnected iPhone network, the bike with the attached Scout can be located whenever an Apple iPhone or iPad is nearby. There are no ongoing monthly fees. Once purchased, just charge the device and it’s ready to use. An Android version is expected for the next season.

INSTALLATION & SECURITY

With the Scout device, you can choose between visible or stealth security. If you want to make it obvious that your bike is equipped with a Scout, simply use the included neon yellow silicone cover. For a more discreet setup, attach the Scout under the bottle cage using the tamper-resistant security screws without the cover.

INSTALLATION WITH A BOTTLE CAGE

The Scout’s ultra-low profile and compact design allow it to be neatly screwed and hidden beneath a bottle cage. This is a great way to keep the Scout hidden for added stealth and protection.

ACTIVATION & CHARGING

Turning the Scout alarm on or off is easy and can be done in two ways:

  • Using the side button when your iPhone is within close range (<1.5 m),
  • Or via the Knog app when the device is within Bluetooth range.

When the Scout’s battery needs recharging, there’s no need to remove it from the bike. Simply charge it with a USB-C cable through the charging port, located under a waterproof silicone cover. Charging time is approximately 3 hours.

LED INDICATORS & WATER RESISTANCE

The Scout features dual-function LEDs that instantly show whether the device is active. These same LEDs also indicate battery status. The device has an IP66 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand rain, be used in wet conditions, and be washed with water jets without compromising functionality.

You can connect up to 10 Scouts or similar devices within the app.
