  • 3-Position Compression Adjustment: When developing the VTT Pro damping  , Manitou set out to maintain a tight lock-up without compromising between open and medium settings. The downside of many dampers with fixed blocking modes is that in any position other than blocking, you reach a critical point that blocks the LowSpeed ​​flow path. When this happens, the damping peaks at almost the same locking force as in the locked position. This translates into hard power in the hands and possibly a lack of control. The goal of VTTis to eliminate that high-speed jump while maintaining the blocking power most XC users demand. This allows the fork to have a less progressive high-speed response while maintaining some low-speed support without going wild. This is achieved by using independent shimstacks (one for Lockout, one for the other two positions). By controlling the pad through which the oil flow is diverted, we can adjust the shock characteristics to be locked, descending or progressive to suit rider and terrain requirements.
• IVA INCREMENTAL VOLUME ADJUST
  • Incremental Volume Adjust (IVA) adjusts the volume in the positive air chamber using separate inserts that determine the position of the IVA piston. This allows the main air spring to be tuned to the weight, style and conditions of the rider without the need for further adjustments.
