OMR CARBON - Frames blend high modulus fibers and high strength fibers exclusively.

LINKAGE UPDATE - Masters from Orbea showed us, how handy they are. Thanks to their new linkage update the rear triangle is built from fewer pieces. Fewer pieces mean fewer interfaces, greater rigidity and a lower chance of something working loose. Additionally, Orbea created a space in the axel and filled it with a handy key multi-tool which is held securely in place with magnets. (Applies to all Occam models except the Occam H30)

ASYMMETRY - STRENGTH -The right side support strengthens and stiffens a high-stress area. Instead of using a less efficient  “shock tunnel" the Occam design offsets the shock to the left side of the frame, allowing the asymmetrical support to follow more direct path. This straight line that closely follows the shock mounting is the most efficient way to neutralize suspension forces on the front triangle.

HIGH POLISH - The new Occam receives the same level of design attention as Orbea´s carbon frames - the tubes are butted and hydroformed with smooth, polished welds to match the dramatic look of the monocoque frame.
