The open design requires very good self-cleaning on muddy ground. The pedal release hardness can be easily adjusted between 6 and 14 Newton metres for individual needs using the hex bolt. So even beginners can gradually get used to this pedal.Note: According to the manufacturer, the stoppers are fully compatible with Shimano SPD pedals.
